ROYAL VICEROY.
WILL COURT CEREMONIAL GO .WITH HIM? By Tclegraph-Pross Association-Copyright. Ottawa, June 14.The "Toronto Globe" comments on the expectation that the presence of tho Duko and Duchess of Connnught in Canada—when the Duke becomes Gover-nor-General—will mako Ottawa and Montreal leading social centres, and that many leading Americans will sgend the winter in Canada. The "Globe" deprecates the idea of the Duke and Duchess setting up anything like a Court, which would be a social burden if not a social curse. The paper recalls the.fact that Princess Louise (wife of the Marquis of Lome, for some years Governor-General) discouraged Court etiquette at Eideau Hall, the GovernorGeneral's residence.
