BY=ELECTIONS.
TWO UNSEATED LIBERALS. 1 By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright. (Rec. Juno IJ, 10.30 p.m.) ' London, June 14. Writs' have boon issued for by-elections at Hartlepool (where Sir Christopher Furnoss, Liberal, was unsealed owing to excessive treating and providing of free meals by liis agent, without his knowledge), and at East Dorset (where Gaptain the Hon. !•'. Guest, the third son of Lord Wimborne, was unseated on the ground of excessivo expenditure). In tho House of Commons, Mr. A. 13. Mnrklmm (Liberal) urged that llio East Dorset writ should bo suspended during the session, owing to the Wimborne family's intimidation, and particularly in view of the Government's support of the Gladstone League. Mr. Hilaire Belloc (Liberal) seconded this proposal. Mr. Rufus Isaacs (Solicitor-General) strongly opposed tho proposal, and, as stated, the writs have issued.
