During tho sitting of Cabinet roster* day it was decided to accept tenders for the construction of a bridge on the Na-pier-Taupo Koad; another over the Tangarakau River; and a third over the Jlokau Eiver. Other' tenders which it was decided to accept relate to the construction of • a police station at Hotueka; a post office at St. Kilda/Dunedin; a Hew chief post office at Westport; and a post office -at Waiinate. Authority was also given for the purchase of railway, material to tho value of .£35,001).
