BRITAIN AND TURKEY.
GERMAN MISCHIEF-MAKING. CRETE AND" GREECE. By Teleeraph-Press Aseociation-OoDyrleh! (Itec. June 13, 10 p.m.) London,. Juno 13. Gorman and Austrian newspapers accuse Britain of championing Crete against Turkey with the object of acquiring Suda Bay (on the north coast of Crete, with the best anchorage in the island). The "Berlin Post" vehemently demands that Europe shall prevent England from turning Arabia into a British satrapy. The "Nueste Nachrichten" invites Turkey to invade Thessaly (North Greece) in order to solve the problem of Hellenism in Crete. Turkish newspapers are giving credence to these accusations.
