TO-DAY'S DINNER.
(Specially written for Tim Dominion.) MONDAY. Brown macaroni soup. - Kromeskies. Hashed potatoes. Vegetable marrow. Koly-pc-ly jam pudding. BROWN MACARONI SOUP. Two pints of stock, 1 carrot, halfturnip, naif-parsnip,. half-onion ; a littlecelery, loz. llour, ioz. butter, salt and peppei, half-teaGpoonlul of sugar. Cut all the vegetables into th;'n slices. Fry /in a little butter a light brown; - then poiir 1 pint of stock on them. Boil for 10 minutes, strain, and pour into a saucepan, and add the other pint of stock. Mix the flour and butter to a. paste, stir into the soup, and brii:g to the boil. Boil five minutes, stirring all the time. Boil the macaroni in boiling salted water until tender; cut it into small pieces, add to the soup, and Serve. ■ . FOR TO-MORROW. Half-pint, split peas (to soak in cold water). 7.0r 81b.'corned beef.
