NEW CANADIAN SERVICE.

The Canadian Northern Railway Company's new fortnightly mail sen-ice to Bristol has :been inaugurated by the departure of the steamer Royal George.The Governor-General (Earl Grey) and his family are passengers. • [The Canadian Northern "Railway Company's now line will be known as the "Royal Line." and tho steamers will run from ' Bristol ■ to Quebec and Montreal during the summer months, and probably from Bristol to"Halifax-during the winter months. The boats will "be known, as tile Royal Edward and the Royal George. They will have a speed of 21 knots, and will possess accommodation; for 350 first.- 230 second, and GOO third-' class passengers. A station lias just been : completed at Bristol at a-cost of .£30,000, and the Canadian -Northern.' Railway Company will be .the first to use it. Tho, Bristol Harbour Commissioners .have made complete arrangements for the dis-. patch of passengers and baggage, and. special boat-trains will lie run by the Great Western Railway Company.}
