SEPARATION.
!——i AUSTRALIAN AND DOMINION , METHODISM. By l'elcerapli-Press Association—Copyrieht • • Sydney,. June 111. ■ The Rev. Mr. Prescott has returned from Adelaide, lie says the general feeling of representatives at the Australian Methodist Conference was one of profound regret that New Zealand considered separation necessary, hut, in view of the fact- that the distinctiveness of the national life of the Dominion seemed to be so well marked, and that the New Zealandcrs themselves felt that Methodism there ought to be put in tho same position as that of other Churches, all that could be done was to give them the independence sought. .
