Mrs. Thompson, while suffering from dementia, took her three children for a walk. Reaching a dam, she, threw one child into the water, after attaching a largo stone to its dress. ■ The child managed to get out. Tho mother then seized another child, aged five years, and held it under tho water. The two, others ran away. When they returned with assistance, the dead bodies of the mother and child were found in the dam.
