Jfcrsrs. Dalsety anil Co., Lid., report:— At our Palmerstou sale yesterday a very fair yardiiif of both sheep and cattle clime forward. All lines wore quitted. r.-itli the exception of one small pen of sheep. Quotations:—Aged owes in lamb, 7s. Id. to 7s. 7d.; mixed aged ewes in lamb, to 9.?. 6d.; empty ewes, 7s. 6d\: Unlit fat owes, to 125.; empty heifers, £2 18s.; light fat cows, to £5 95.; empty store cows, to £2 lßs.is'niall 3-ycar steers, £5 2s. 6d.; forward polled Abrub bullocks. £6 165.; springing heifers, to £7.

Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At our Pnlmerston North sale on Thursday we had a large yarding'of sheen and a fair entry of cattle. Notwithstanding the inclement weather, buyers were present in good numbers, and we have to report a very brisk sale at prices slightly in advance of last weak. We quote:— Sheep: Fat and forward wethers, 15s. 3d.: forward empty, ewes, Bs. 7d., 9s. 2d., 9s. Id., to 10s. 3d.; fat ewes, lis. 3d., lis. Id., and 125.; 2, 4. and 6-tooth ewes in lamb, 14s. 6d.; mixed aged ewes in lamb, 10s. lid. to lis. Id.; mixed lambs, 6s. 6d., 6s. 10d.,t095. *kl.; ewe jambs (small), 7s. Id.; woolly hoggets, 10s. Id.; rams, 4s. to 9s. Cattle: Our entry of cattle consisted mainly of dairy cows and heifers, and good bullocks. We managed to unit line of 114 5-year-old bullocks, in conjunction with the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency at £5 10s. Wc also quote:—Spring calvers, £3 10s., £4 12s. 6d., £4 17s. fid. to £5; fat cows, £4 45.; empty cows, £2 to £2 10s.
