With regard to the resignation of tho German Colonial Minister, Herr Dernburg, the "Pall Mall Gazette" says:— "In the downfall of Herr Dernburg, one of the most potent factors for AngloGerman, friendship disappears, and we are sorry for it."
The Berlin correspondent of "The. Times" says that Hen 1 Dernburg is standing aside because ho dislikes the present regime. Those who arc left behind can hardly applaud his decision, as they are aware that he is departing not in order to' relieve the situation, but because he thinks that the situation cannot last. POSSIBLE SUCCESSOR. Berlin, June 7. The "Berliner Tageblatt" states that Heirr Lindeqivist is mentioned as Herr Dernburg's successor as Minister for the Colonic*.
