MARATHON RACE.
NEW AUSTRALIAN KECOED. By Telegraph—Press Association-Oonyrieht (Roe. June G, 11.30 p.m.) Sydney, Juno 6. The Now South Wales Marathon race was won by Siinc, time -hrs. 511 minutes —an Australian record. [The Marathon was run under the auspices of the Newtown Harriers. An entry of -12 was received, but the names of the competitors arc not to hand. The iirst Australian Marathon was run on April 12, 1909, anil .was won by A. K. Sime, time 3hrs. smin. tlO 1-Ssec]
