His Excellency tho Governor, Lord Plunkot, left for Auckland by the Main Trunk express yesterday; Llis entrainment was not 'marked with any ceremony, but tho Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout) and members of the Ministry and Parliamentarians wero present" ami wished him farewell. Tho Prime Minister called for three cheers for the Governor and Lady Plunket, and tlieso wero heartily given us train steamed out of tho station.

His Excellency will hold a farewell levee at Auckland this afternoon, and will receive an address from the Mayor and corporation of that city, and an address from the Anglican Bishop (Dr. Noligaii). He will attend the annual church parade of the Fire Biieaibs tomorrow, and will leave Xew Zealand by the Maiiciio for Sydncv on Monday.
