The Cheshire coroner hold an inquest at Crewe on Mr. Spencer Whittakor, secretary to Burnley Football Club, who i'cll from a London express. It appeared that ilr.. Whittaker was travelling to London to register a player, and, it was surmised, fell out of the train through opening the outside door of tho compartment in mistake. Ho received shocking injuries, succumbing in Crewe Hospital. "Accidental death" was the verdict returned by the jury.
