A message to "The Times," via Monte Video (which escaped the censorship), states that at Buenos Ayres, on May 25, an Anarchist gave a boy parcel (which subsequently proved to be a bomb) lo carry to the Cathedral, promising fo meet him there. A companion of tho boy playfully wrestled with him for possession of tho parcel, which they supposed was a meat tin. The bomb exploded, ono boy was blown to atoms, and tho other lost both his arms. It is believed that it was intended that • the bomb should bo thrown during the To Detim service in tho Cathedral in connection with the Argentine centenary celebrations. The Argentine celebrations, with the Infanta Isabella -as the principal figure, are drawing to completion. THE CELEBRATIONS. The following forecast of the Argentine centenary celebrations was published a • n H me a S O: "The celebrations, which will take place during the week beginning May 24, embrace the reception of the foreign naval vessels by the Argentine fleet on the Rio de la Plata; an official reception of the officers of the fleets of foreign countries at the Government House at Buenos Ayres; a naval review by the President of the Kepublio in the outer roadstead; a review of the crews of the foreign and Argentine vessels, and of the Argentine Army; and nautical festivals in the port, in which the foreien and Argentine warships will take part. "The other festivities will include tho laying of the foundation-stone of the monument commemorating Argentine independence by the President of the Republic; gala performances at the theatres; illuminations of the city and of the warships; opening of the scientific, PanAmerican, hygienic, and the National "Women's congresses; athletic 1 conte'sts, and horse races. The visiting officers will be invited to receptions at private clubs, and will be taken into the interior of the country on visits to big farms and ranches." '.
