— AEROPLANE PRIZES. THE LICENSING OF AIR-CRAFP. By Meeraph-Presj Assoclatlon-Oopyrisht New York, June 1. The New York "World" and the St. Louis "Post Despatch" jointly offer thirty thousand dollars (.£6000) for an aeroplane flight from New York to St. Louis. The Now York "Times" and the Chicago "Evening Post" offer 25,000 dollars (.£5000) for a flight from New York to Chicago. The United States and Mexico are negotiating a treaty for the compulsory registration of aeroplanes and dirigible balloons. Unlicensed airships will be treated aa smugglers or pirates.
