TO-DAY'S DINNER.
{Specially written for The Dominion.) FRIDAY. Soiled Cod, Parsley Sauce. Fricasse Beef, with Vegetables. Fig Pudding. Cheese Aigrettes. FRICASSE BEEF. Two small onions, 1 carrot,- 1 turnip, 1 stick celery, 1 small cauliflower, 1 pint stock, 1 teaspoonful salt, cayenne pepper, 2 cloves, if liked. Slice onions, carrots, turnips, stick celery, and cauliflower into a saucepan, add stock, salt, cayenne pepper to cover a threepenny piece, and 2 cloves. Let vegetables stew till tender. Add to this thin slices cold beef, heat thoroughly, but do not let boil; take meat out and place on hot dish. Drain vegetables, place around meat, and strain gravy over. . FOE TO-MORROW.' Stock, vermicelli, mutton cutlets, French beans, potatoes, sago, lemons.
