Marton. There was a very large attendance', and all classes of stock met with a ready sale. Buyers were present from as far north as Waitotara. and right down tho lino to Shannon and.Foxton. Quotations: Sheep-Smalt, mixed lambs, 6s. Id.; woolly lamb's.' Bs.: small two-tooth ewes in lamb, 11s.. 3d.; aged ewes, ss. 10d.; two-tooth wethers, 11s. 3d.; six-tooth and f.m. ewes, 11s. Id. to 14a. 7d.; two-tooth ewes, 15s. 9d.; four-tooth cwe3, 15s. Gd.; f.f.m. ewes, 165.; six-tooth ewes. 16s. 6d. Cattle: Cows in milk, £5, ,£C, £?. £8 10s: to £9; raised wcaners, ZBs. 6d.; yearling heifers. £3 2s. 6d. Horses: Light horses, to £5 IDs.; medium draughts, £22. £25, to £25 10s.; heavy draughts, £26 to £30. A very larco quantity of implements, sundries, furniture, etc., sold at full market rates.
