The moiipy maj bo devoted to endowing a ward in St. Bartholomew's Hospital or for the establishment of Imperial scholarships at the City of London School. Mr. Andrew Carnegie and Sir William Mather (chairman of Mothes and Platt, Ltd., owners of the Salford Ironworks) have contributed £1000 each to the fund.
