LABOUR PROBLEM.
JAPANESE IN CALIFORNIA. AN IMPORTANT REPORT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyricht (Rec. May 30, 10 p.m.) San Francisco, May 30. The Califoruian Labour Commission reports that an exhaustive investigation shows that some form of unskilled labour similar to Japanese is essential for the development of specialised Californian agricultural industries. If the Japanese aro excluded, Hindus will have to replace them. This report will probably end the anti-Japanese agitation.
