COLONIAL PRESBYTERIANISM. NEW ZEALAND MINISTERS IN SCOTLAND. "SKY PILOT" AND PIONEER, Bj Telesraph—Press Association—OoDyrlgtil (Bee. May 30, 9.30 p.m.) London, May 30. The General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, sitting at Edinburgh, welcomed representatives from Australia and' New Zealand, including the Rev. John Mackenzie (Christchurch) and tho Kev. A. T. Thompson (Masterton). The colonial deputies delivered brief addresses, urging that Australian and New Zealand ministers were doing their best to overtake the constantly increasing demands. Not money but men were wanted by the overseas Dominions. They appealed to the Church of Scotland to send good men. The General. Assembly of the United Free Church discussed problems of colonial Projbyterianisra, including colonial students at Scottish Universities and Theological Halls. Dr. Kelman said if they were going to send religion to Australia'the "sky pilot" must go along with tho surveyor, the .merchant,'ami tile pioneer, otherwise the first claim would be jumped.
