Mr. C. ll.' Robinson's' black Orpingtons continue to top tho list in tho Ne\y Zealand Utility- Poultry Club's egglaying competition noiv being held at Papamii. From the beginning or tho month, when' the competition commenced, to May 26, a total of 3158 eggs have been, laid, - the, number laid ill the last week of the period being 1003, as agaiiist 901 for the week ending May 19, and 791 for- tlie week ending May 12. Corrie's White Leghorns, with 33, their grand total, however, being only 76. In the .ducks, 183 eggs have been laid, the total for the week being 67. Mr.„W- Knight's No. 1 pen of Indian Runners heaßf). the list easily with 33 eggs for the .week aiid 83 since the beginning of the competition. The next best are Mr. --W. A. Nixon's Indian Runners with 13. for the week and a "grand total of '38. :
