The death of Mr. W. A. Hart, London superintendent of the Great Western Bail way, took place recently. The deceased "was the recipient of gifts from various crowned heads on occasions of visits to Windsor, and was personally decorated by King Carlos at a reception at the Portuguese Legation in London with a Portuguese Order of Knighthood. Whilst engaged in preparing a composition for mixing at tho works of tho Electric Blasting Company, at Trafalgar Colliery, LNean Forest, Prank Phelps, a singla man, of Cinderford, was blown to pieces by an explosion. The shed in which he was working was completely wrecked. Other employees, mostly girls, "working in adjacent buildings, escaped unhurt.
