BIG EXHIBIT EXPECTED

Splendid progress is being made with the huge block of concrete buildings in Hawera for tho South Taranaki Winter Show Co. It is stated that tho building when completed will be the largest in the Dominion ' erected in eameratcd concrete, and will draw quite a number of visitors to see it alone, apart from the show. Tho entries for the dairy produce section are excellent, and a splendid exhibit will lie benched. Applications for spacu, the secretary states, are being received daily from all parts. All the principal dairy and farm implement manufacturers will be represented; 3GO feet of shafting is being installed for machinery in motion, and a total frontage of 56 ; 0 feet of machinery will bo on exhibition in the machinery hall. Tho Department of Agriculture has decided to make a splendid exhibit of grasses and farm produce from tho

Moumahaki Stato Farm. In tho school districts farmers' competition a strong class is expected. The chairmen of tho various school committees arc forming committees in tlicir centres, and quite a little friendly rivalry will bo excited. Entries close for all classes on Juno 25. Schedules can be had by applying to tho secretary, Bos 47, Huwura.
