Messrs. Dalgcty and Company, Ltd., report as follows:—At ourPalincrston North sale on Thursday last a good yarding of both sheep and cattle canio forward. Although several lines were passed at auction, we disposed of the whole of our yarding, with the exception of one Biuall pen of sheep. Quotations:— Empty ewes. Vs. od., Bs. 4d., Es. 6d.; fat and forward ewes, 10s. 7d. to 10s. 9d.; aged ewes. 3s. lOd;. light fat cows, £4 3s. 6d.; 20-months steers, £3 165.; 2J-year steers, £4 145.; empty cows, £2 175.; 31-year steers, £5 IBs.

Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report on their Levin sale, held this week, as follows:—An extra heavy yarding of both sheep and cattle came forward, and were submitted to a good attendance of buyers. Sheep sold more freely than. at preceding sales, nearly all lines changing hands at auction or immediately after tho sale. Cattle also sold well, practically every line changing hands in favour of vendors. We quote as follows:—Line fullmouth ewes in iamb. 13s. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Ltd.. Blenheim, report holding their weekly sale this week at the Co-operative Rale Yards, Blenheim, as follows:—Our yarding consisted of over 1200 mixed sheep, 2 rams, 9 bullocks, and 5 pigs. Thero was a good attendance of buyers, and bidding was brisker than at the previouß. sale. Prices realised were as follow:—Fat wethers, 10s. lid. to 12s. 6d.; forward wethers, Bs. to Bs. 5d.; fat ewes, 10s. 6d.; forward owes, 65.; ewo lambs. 10s. (id.; m.s. lambs. Bs. 3d.; fat lambs, Bs.; woolly lambs 6s. 9d.; shorn lambs, 6s.

Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having held their fortnightly sale at Eketahuna on Friday, May 27. They state:—We had an overage yarding of both sheep and cattle Lidding was very slow, hut we quitted the bulk of our yarding before the day closed. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., LU)., : report for tho week ending May 27.as follows:—At Apiti on Tuesday a. small yarding of stock came forward. Cattle sold well, but the sheep were mostly an inferior quality. We quote:—F.m. ewes in lamb, 10s. Id.; mixed cge-J ewes, ss. 6d. to 6s. Id.; cull ewes. 2s. to 45.; rams, 6s. 6d.; mixed weaners (small); 175.; others. 335. to 375. At Fcilding on Friday wo had a moderate entry of f>heop and cattle. • Both sheep and cattle were inclined to drag, but we were successful in placing the whole of our entry.
