Begg has been appointed, temporarily, an inspector for the purposes of the Slaughtering and Inspection Act. Capt. J. H. Colebourne has been transferred from the active list.(unattached) to tho Hawke's Bay Moμnted Rifles. • The Colonial Auxiliary Forces' long service medal haa been awarded to Capt. (Adjutant) W. F. Kilingender, Ist Regiment Wellington Mounted Mr." Jno. Harris (Methodist Church of Australasia in New Zealand) and the Rev. ,W.\ Perry (Baptists) are gazetted as officiating ministers. Constable J.
