FIRES.
The Fire lirijpde turned out to two small fires on Saturday. At 5.20 p.m. a lighted candle caused an outbreak in an eight-roomed house in Kent Terrace occupied by Mr. Frank Ampnon. The damage was only trilling. At 5.30 p.m. an alarm was given iu connection with Mrs. K. Allison's house, Upper Duncan Terrace, Kilbirnio. A bedroom was damaged, and other injury caused. The lire was acccuntrd for by the fact that some children Jiad been playing with matches.
