THE PLAGUE CASES.
ORIGIN OF DISEASE TRACED. Speaking to a Dominion reporter last night, tho Prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward, stated that ho had just received a telegram from Auckland to the effect that 110 fresh cases of plague had occurred. Both of the cases had lieen completely isolated, and there was no fear of the disease spreading. Tho origin of the disease had been clearly traced to washing received from a Sydney steamor.
