GOVERNMENT MOURNING.
Sir,—As my daily perambulations iako in© in tho vicinity of the various blocks of Government buildings, I, with probably many others, am curious to know tho reason why tho big red building where the Government carries on its printing works ia tho only pile belonging to the people that has remained undraped. It was also noticeable that tho craping above tho half-mast flag was absent. Perhaps your valuable paper could ascertain whether the omissions were due to lack of material or lack of respect.—l am, .CURIOUS.
