MEMORIAL SERVICES. AT ST. PAUL'S. A memorial sorvico will bo hold in St, Paul's Pro-Cathedral, Mulgravo Street, at 10.30 a.m. to-morrow. His Excellency tho Govornor will be present.- Tho order of service will be as follows: — Processional hymn. Bass solo—';i am tho Ressurcction and the Life" (Parkor), Mr. C. Clarkson. Psalm 90. Lesson. 1 Anthom—"Wreaths for our Graves" (Sir Arthur Sullivan). Prayers. Tenor solo—"Then Shall the Righteous Shine Forth" (Mendelssohn), Mr. Jas. Searle. Hymn 499. Benediction. The Dead March in "Saul" (Handel). UNITED SERVICES. A children's memorial service will be held at the Basin Reserve at 10.30 a.m. to-morrow. All Sunday school children are invited to attend in time for them to be marshalled outside the reserve at 10 a.m. Tho cadets and Boy Scouts will be present. The following will be the programme for the service :— Hymn, "0 God Our Help in Ages Past," Mr. W. Hopkirk, vice-president of tho Sunday School Union.

Benediction, Rev. J. Gibson Smith (Presbyterian). The Central Mission Band will assist the musical service.-

A united memorial service will, be hold at 2.30 p.m. to-morrow before the old Parliamentary Buildings, or, if the weather is bad, in the Town Hall. The following is the programme for tho service :—

Hymn—"Rock of Ages," Mr. James Moore (Missions to Seamen). Lesson—l Corinthians xv, 35 —58, Rev. W. Shirer (Presbyterian). Hymn—"Nearer My God," Rev. J. Reed Glasson (Congregationalist). Address —Rev. J, Kennedy Elliott (Presbyterian). Prayer—Rov.- J. J. North (Baptist). Hymn—"Abido With Me," Adjutant Gunn (Salvation Ar-my). Lord's Prayer, Prayer for the King, and Benediction, Rev. T. H. Sprott (Anglican). Dead March, tho Garrison Band, In connection with the above service to be held to-morrow afternoon, Mr. Robert Parker requests that all who wish to take port in the choir, will attend at tho Town Hall this evening at eight o'clock, when the Garrison Band will bo in attendance to rehearse with the voices. A cordial invitation is extended to all singers to take part in this memorable occasion; they are requested, if possible, to bring tune books with thoni. Mr. J. Moore, missioner, has been asked to take charge of the distribution of tho "Order of Proceedings" at the servico. Knowing the danger that might ariso from a free distribution at the gates, he has arranged, in conjunction with his workers, to place a distributor in all streets approaching tho old Parliament Buildings. Those who are taking part in the service are asked to secure copies on their way to the enclosure. Tho troops will be supplied with copies in Whitmore Street. As tho children • will havo bad their copies at the morning servico the order of proceedings will be supplied to adults only. Tho Herotaunga Mounted Rifles will furnish the mounted escort for his Excellenoy the Governor. A detachment from H.M.S. Pioneer will, also attend the memorial service tomorrow afternoon. After an impressive memorial scrvice at St. Luke's, Wadestown, on Sunday evening last the vicar (the Rev. T. G. Kay) asked the large congregation to join with him in singing "God Save the Ki\ig" as ho (the vicar) thought that the late King, if he could speak, would say: "Pray that God may bless and save the new King." Thero will bo a solemn service at St. Luke's, Wadestown, on Friday morning at 10.30. A funeral servico will take placo at the Synagogue, Wellington Terrace, to-morrow, May 20, at 4.30 p.m. Mr. James Moore ; missioner, will hold a memoral service at the Slissions to Seamen to-morrow-evening, at 7.30. A united memorial service will be held at the Recreation Ground, Lower Hutt, at 2.30 p.m. to-morrow.

RESOLUTION BY COLLECE COUNCIL. At tlio meeting of the Victoria College Council last evening:, the chairman, Mr. J. Graham, M.l'., moved:— "That the members of the Victoria College Council desire 'to express their deep sorrow at the great loss the Empire has sustained by the death of his late Majesty King Edward VII., and their respcctful sympathy with the Queen Mother and her family in thoir bereavement. It would bo generally conceded, Mr. Graham said, that the late King had governed his Empire in the-wisest possible way, and was one of tbo best kings that Great Britain liad had. His death was a particularly severe loss in view of tlio present international unrest. The motion was seconded by Mr. Fleming, and adopted, the members standing. NOTES. Thero will bo no lectures at Victoria College to-day. The warehouses will be closed tomorrow, on accouut of the funeral of the late King. The General Assembly library will ho closed all day to-morrow. To-night, at 7.45, a special parade will be held at the Garrison Hall, Bnekle Street, of the Zealnndia Rifles. To-morrow the company will parade at Whitmore Street, at 1 o'clock. Full dress, helmets, rifles, and side-arms, is the order dress issued for each parade.
