A SOLVENCY INSURANCE FUND. Br T«lcrrapb—Press Association—Copyright (Reo. May 18, 10.40 p.m.) London, May 18. The annual conference of Oddfellows at Southampton discussed a proposal to establish a solvency insurance fund, aiming at raising the deficiency lodges to a 90 per cent, standard of solvency. It is estimated that a penny ill the £ levy would raise a £10,000 reserve fund.' The suggestion will bo resubmitted to tho next conference.
