PALMERSTON HIGH SCHOOL.

• OLD BOYS' REUNION. The Old Boys of the Palmerston North' High School were entertained in Scott's rooms Inst evening by the rector of the school, Mr. J. E. Vernon. The evening was spent in reviewing old times, and a number of toasts were honoured, including "The Rector," proposed by Mr. E. Inder, and replied to by Mr. Vernon; "School Sports," proposed by Mr. , L. P. Leary, and responded to by Mr. A. Fair; "The Board of Governors," proposed by ■ Mr. E. Wnldegrave, and replied to by Mr. W. Rutherford: and "The Teaching Profcsiion," proposed by 'Mr. J. Chapman, and responded to by Mr. A. Fitt, B.A. Musical items-were contributed by Messrs. Leary, Finlayson, and • Rutherford. It was decided that arrangements should be made for sending an Old Boys' football' team from Wellington to play in Palmerston on June 3. ' ■
