— -4 His Excellency the Governor Has arranged to leave Wellington'at 9.10 a.m. on Saturday, passiug through Palmerston North and loilding, and arriving at Wanganui at 4.57, where ho Trill stay until Monday. Leaving Wanganui at 6.40 a in. on Monday, he.- will pass through Patea, Hawera, Eltham, and Stratford, returning to Stratford, after a run up the branch line to Huiroa, at 3.8 p.m., and then going on to New Plymouth, where he will arrive at 5.30. The following day his Excellency will return to Wellington, leave for the south on May 25, and on May 27 hold a levee at Dunedin. Next day he will return to Christchurch; on May 30 he will motor through the Ellesmere district, and on May 31 hold a levee at.Christchurch, leaving for Wellington the same evening. On June 2 Lord Plunket will hold a lovee at Wellington, and next day is to leave for Auckland, where he will hold a levee on June 4, sailing for Sydney, en route for the Old Country, on June 6. He intends spending a fortnight in Australia before finally leaving for England.Mr. "Robin Clark, whose appointment as private secretary to Baron Islington, New Zealand's new Governor, was announced some time ago, is well known in Svdney and Melbourne. Says a Sydney exchange:—The genial Governor, Sir -Harry Rawson, never appeared at any of our cup or steeplechase meetings without the asiistance of Mr. Clark.
