THE CHURCH AND SOCIAL QUESTIONS.
: 4 u A short time ago a fortnight of special jfcrvic.es was held in the Brooklyn Presbyterian Church. One result of the services was the inauguration of a class of the adult members of the church for the study of any questions bearing on the church's relation to the community, and for carrying on aggressive work in the district. The class meets every week and has been very successful. It is under the, leadership of tho minister, and in our advertisement columns all intersstcd in social questions are invited to meet in the' church to discuss "The Relation of Society to Capital and Labour." Mr. Hutson has made a special study of Socialism and kindred subjects, so those who are interested may find it a very profitable way of spending an evening. It is the intention of the class to have an open meeting on these lines once a month.
