TO-DAY'S DINNER.
(Bγ Dominica.)
(Specially written for The Dominion.) MONDAY. Kidney Soup. Boiled beef. Suet dumplings. Carrots. Potatoes. Arrowroot Biaue-manse. Stewed Pears. ARROWTtOOT BLANC-MANGE. Pour lieapcd tablespoons arrowroot, H pints inilk, 3 laurel leaves or rind of i-lemon, sugar to taste. Mix arrowroot to smooth batter with J-pint milk, put other pint on fire, with laurel leaves, and let milk steep until well flavoured. Strain milk, add it boiling to mi led arrowroot. Sweeten with sifted Kugar and let it boil, stirring all the time, till it thickens to corno from saucepan. Wet a mould; pour in blancmange, and when quite set turn out on dish, and pour round a compote of fruit, and garnish with jam. FOR TO-MORROW. Stock. Rump Steak. Potatoes. Celery. Apples.
