The comet has a brilliant bead and a long veil-like phosphorescent tail.' Photographs of the visitor were taken.

Tho aeronauts suffered from want of oxygen. The final foil was from a height of 300 ft. Their lives wore saved by rnbber air mattresses in tho bottom of the basket of the balloon.
