Peaoh Pudding.—Quart canned poaches, 1 pint flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon butter, 1 cup sweet milk, I teaspoon • baking-powder. . Empty peaches on a square baking tin, sprinkle sugar and bits of butter over, put in oven to heat, make flour, etc., into •paste, roll out' to fit pan, cut a hole Si centre to let steam out; when, fruit is soft turn out on dish, peaches uppermost. Should be served with cream tor custard.
