It was permissible to admit delirium tremens cases, but-no other. Mr. Myers said that it would bo a good thing when an observation ward was established; but the house surgeon explained that it was against tho law to tako in mental . cases, even for observation, unless tho . institution was licensed under tho Act. Mr. Wilkinson said that it was that the Government shourd place the responsibility on a charitable aid board nnless it contributed to tho cost. It was decided that Dr. Falconer and tho secretary should draft a letter to Dr. Valiiitine on tho matter.
