LODGE MEETINGS.
The weoklv meeting of the Sunbeam Jα* venile Temple, No. 30, 1.0. G.T., was held in the Methodist Mission Hall, Tory Street on Wednesday. May. 11, Sister E. Petherick, C.T.', presiding. There was a good attendance of members and friends. After the usual business the temple was closed as a' mark of respect to the memory of his Majesty King Edward VII. The fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Combination Lodge of Oddfellows was held at Johns'onville on Wednesday evening, . Bro. A. Grierson, G.P., being in the chair.On the lodge being opened the Grand Master referred to the death of King. Edward VII, and a resolution was carried, all members standing the while, ex-1 pressing the sorrow felt by every one present at the great loss which the nation has sustained, and of their sympathy, for those who are left to so deenly mourn the loss. The lodge then "adjourned, business discussions being postponed until next meeting. .
