NEW STEAMERS.
FOR THE AUSTRALIAN TRADE,

Advices have been received that seven of the ten new 10,000-ton stearaeri, for the Houlder Line, which are intended for the Australian and other trades, have already been launched, and will be put in commission at an early date. TO REPLACE THE PERICLES. Sydney, May 12. Tho agents of thii Aberdeen Line have been advised that tho steamer Norseman (9545 tons), belonging to the British and North Atlantic SjS. Co., will take up the running of the Pericles, wrecked on April 1 last off Cape Leeuwin, pending' the completion of a steamer .(sister to'tho Pericles) N now under construction.
