KING'S MESSAGES.
LOYALTY OF THE NAVY AND ARMY. AND OF INDIA. . (Eec. May 11, 10.15 p.m.) • London, May 11. King George, in a message to the Navy, is grateful tor its faithful services to his father, recalls his 33 years of service therein, and adds:—"My intimato participations in its life and work, enables me to feel lion- thoroughly I can depend upon the spirit of loyalty and zealous devotion of which the glorious history of tho Navy is tho outcome." His Majesty knows that tho Navy will ever continue to .ho. tho foremost defender of tho' country's' honour, and adds: "Its fortunes will always bo followed by mo with deep feelings of pride and affectionate interest." , In a message to the Army, King Gcorgo says: "My beloved father 'was always closely associated with the Army by ties of strong personal attachment. I wish to express to all ranks my gratitude for tho Army's gallant and devoted serviced to him. I shall watch over your interests and efficiency with the keenest solicitude, and shall rely on that spirit of loyalty and devotion which has at all times animated and been a proud tradition of tho Array."
King George, in a message .acknowledging the homage dono him by tho Princes and people of India, adds: "Your prosperity and happiness will always bo to mo of the highest interest and concern, as they were to the lato King-Emperor and Queen-Empress before me."
