Steps are being taken to induce Mr. John Burns (President of the Local Government Board) and Lord Crewo (Secretary for the Colonies) to secure tho revision of tho latest Canadian immigration regulation-issued at Ottawa, which tho manager of tho Canadian Emigration Organisation in London interprets as excluding from Canada any immigrants assisted by charitablo or public bodies, unless they ore proceeding to farm work with his approval.
