At a meeting of the local, executive of the Boy Scouts at Wmiganui to-night it was decided to approve the circular isfuied from'"'the' North Island headquarters to enable the junior cadet department to avail itself of tho training given by tho Dominion Boy Scout organisation in all except the age fixed (10 to 10).' It was decided to. writo to the authorities at headquarters regarding the recognition of the service for scoutmasters for military long service lnedalsi and to further point out that unless half the sen-ice oi boy scouts, between the ages of 14 and 18 for the senior cadet service is recognised; and the maximum ago of scouts'raised from 16 to 18' years, a serious set-back will be given the organisation throughWt the Dominion. . ■' ;.■■■'
