Messrs. Thomson and Brown advertise particulars of a valuable residential block of property consisting of two residences in lflgestre Street, which. they will offer for Kile by public auction at their rooms, Customhouse Quay, to-day. The property consists of No. 217 Lagos tre Street, containing 6 good rooms, and No. 219, containing *1 large rooms. The land has a frontage of 34 feet 8 inches widening out at the back to 70 feet 10 inches by the depth of' 174 feet. The firm will also sell, on behalf of the trustees in the Plimraer Estate, part town acre 437, baring a frontage of 92 feet to Woolcombo Street, by the long depth running right back to the Town Belt, together with three houses erected thereon, title land transfer. Other properties to bo offered are a valuable business site opposite the Newtown post offico, and an attractive residential property •in Wadestown known as "The Mount," witi adjoining section.

A King Edward VII memorial pictorial supplement, consisting of 16 pages, is to bo published with "The Weekly Press" of May 11, which will be on salo in Wellington to-day. Besides the memorial supplement, there will also bo 1G furthor pages of illustrations, including seven depicting the rescue and other scenes in connection with the Otira Tunnel accident.

The Manawatu Auctioneers' Association will hold at Palmerston North a largo stock sale, offering about 1000 head of cattle 'and lambs. • The sale will be held on May 12.
