Captain I. A. Sutcliffc, the well-known commander of the Tv'cw Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Tongariro, is to take command of the company's new steamer Botorua. which is now being built by Denny Uros. Mr. D. L. Maxwell, second mate of the Breeze, was admitted to the hospital suffering with an injured log. Mr. 0. Thornsen. late of the Ennorclale, has joined the Breeze in hi 3 place. After dclivoring her second cargo of coal in Now Zealand, the Adelaide Steamship Company's Echunga. will probably load timber in the Dominion for Australia. It is said sho will be able to take away 6,000,000 ft. of Umber at one loading.
