Messrs. Freeman 11. Jackson and Co. report a 2 follows:—On April 27 at our Wangauui stock sale we yarded 430 mixed cattle, 3300 sheen, and ICO pitrs. Bidding for sheep was not so keen as of late, although several lines wore passed at auc: tion, and wo disposed of mo:: , . of the sheep I after the sale. Cattle elicited keen competition/ all classes of fat aud forward cattle sclliutf in vendors' favour. A nico I line of Shorthorn three to three ana a. half-year bullocks fetched £6 10s.. a, full entry of pigs sold readily. On April 29, at Waverley sale, we had a full attendance of buyers, and our yarding consisted of 43C0 siieep and 320 head of cattle. Bidding for cattle was. brisk throughout and everything told readily. Wc disposed of all yarded, with tho exception of a pen of cows. Sheep maintained late valuc3. A nice line of fat and forward wethers, on account of Messrs. Mendham and Hair, made 14a. 7d., four-tooth wethers, on account same owners, fetched 13s. 5d., several other clients' lots made full values. Wo disposed of the whole of the entry except a line of lambs.
