Barometric pressure has decreased both in the extreme north and south, and tho weather has been unsettled in those parts and on the West Coast of the South Island. Fair but changeable weather has been experienced elsewhere. Northerly winds have prevailed. Present indications aro somewhat threatening in both the north and south, as two disturbances are in Gvidoturc in the rear of tho anti-c.vclono now apparently moving eastward. Easterly winds strong to gale are probable northward of East Capo and Kawhin. and northerly elsewhere. Rain probable in the far north and 6outh, and unsettled weather generally. D. 0. BATES.
