The actual dates applied for are September 29 and 39. A number of horses wore shipped to Pieton yesterday by the Pateena to take part in tho racing a$ Blenlioim to-mor-row. They included the llarlborough Cup candidates, Truganini, LaniEdorff, and Mafaari, also Penza, Rongainau, Lares, Splash, and Sea Q^tcen.

Jackpot, who won, the Han-ke's Bay Steeplechase lust year, and who went wrong when being prepared for the Grand National, is now doing well enough in his proparatibn to suggest that he will be back to his old form for this season's cross-country events.
