SIR E. SHACKLETON'S NEW FIELD. ily Tcleernph—Press (Rec. May 2, 9.50 p.m.) , Ottawa, May 2. Sit Ernest Shackleton, the Antarctic explorer, announces that after his series' of Antarctic lectures is concluded, he will settle in Montreal for four or Jive years, and will conduct explorations of the mineral resources of Northern Canada between Cobalt (Ontario) and James Bay (the southern arm of Hudson Bay). The Canadian Pacific Railway Company is heavily interested in the syndicate for which Sir Ernest Shackleton is acting.
