WHAT THEY THINK OP US IN ENG- ■ LAND. ' . Below is an extract from a letter which was received a week ago by ■ the manager of Messrs. Murdoch and Co.'a Wellington branch. "I am writing to tell yon that yonr little country is absolutely'tlje finest I havo ever set foot on. I have now been practically all over the world, and, except for England, which, of course, is Home, I conld think of no place in which I would rather live than your beautiful island home, New Zealand. I have another reason why I am thankful that I visited your country, and that is, as you know, I was suffering frpm that dreadful scourge , Eczema, a complaint which I have had since I was a boy. You will remember recommending me to try Bed Cross Ointment for the trouble. I bought a box of it while in Auckland, bofore leaving for Home, and by tho time I arrived in England I was absolutely cured. My friends hardly knew me when I returned." Yours very sincerely, FRANCIS J. TRAVIS. P.S.—Send me a dozen or 60 tins, which J wish to give to my friends. F.J.T. A juryman, who was late after tho lunolieon interval at tho Old Bailoy and kept the Court waiting fifteen minutos, was ordered by tho judge to attend ovory day for the rest of tho session. The juryman explained that ho had no one in his office except his wife, and the foreman, on behalf of tho jury, asked the judge to reconsider his decision, but the judge declined.
