ENTERTAINMENTS.

FULLER'S VAUDEVILLE. The bright sotting of the fhst part of the programme at the Theatre Royal is only in keeping with -the faro provided. The company is strong all round, and not a dull moment is possible from the rise to the fall of the curtain. The merit of every performer was fully recognised at yesterday evening's performance, an encore being demanded in practically every instance.

HIS MAJESTYIS THEATRE. Tho new picture programme at His Majesty's Theatre, Courtenay Place, which was'so enthusiastically received by the large audience which attended the initial exhibition on Wednesday evening, drew another largo' and appreciative audience last evening. The new programme is an unusually fine one, representing a great variety of subjects. The' star items of the dramatiu group are "The Duke's Plan," "A Woman's Folly," "Tho Course of True Love," and "The Clown's Crime." Humour is represented by "Poolshead as Chief of Reporters," "Up-to-date Imps," and "That Skating Carnival." Ah excellent example of scenic kinematography are "Tho Lake of Lucerne." The programme will be repeated this evening, and for to-morrow •'the usual matinee and evening exhibitions aro announced.

THE KING'S THEATRE. The success which attended tho initial presentation of the new picture programme at the King's Theatre on Wednesday night was repeated last, evening, when the fine series of kinematograph films was shown to a very large and thoroughly appreciative audience. An excellent laughter-raiser, "That Skating Carnival," is the opening picture. Then follow pictures in great variety. Tlie finest of tho scenic 'pictures' aro: "The Lake of Brientz," and "The Volcanoes and Craters of the Oceanic Islands." Dramatic studies aro well represented by 'The Duke's Plan," and. "Tho Average,'" while comic items are generously besprinkled throughout the programme. The .Star will .be repeated 'to-night, and to-morrow, and in addition to the usual evening'exhibition a prize matinee will bo given for the children.

"TEEM 01?. HIS NATURAL LIFE." striking kinematograph film "For the Term of His Natural Life," which strongly impressed all who saw it when it was exhibited in Wellington 'recently, will be shown again in tho Town Hall to-morrow, night.and on Monday. The him gives a unique representation of Marcus Clarke's great novel, as all the scenes which, he described have been specially photographed .for, the bioscope, and tho dramatic. events acted in their proper setting for the purpose of the picture. The box plan for the short return Season is at the Dresden. Popular prices will obtain, and there is no extra charge for booking.

STAR PICTURES. Tho attractive series of pictures which' are being displayed at -St. Thomas's Hall by the-Star Pictures are : being rewarded by good attendances. Probably the best of an excellent selection are, "Carmen," "Ice Breaking in Finland," 'and "The Wonders of Nature."'. A.matinee performance is to be given on Saturday.

SUNDAY CONCERT. The Wellington Professional Orchestra, assisted by Mr. Dave Kenny oh the grand organ, will give anotkef of its popular Sunday evening'entertainments in the Town Hall on Sunday evening next, May 1, 1910, at B.SO o'clock. It is the intention of the management to give l a concert on tho first Sunday in each month throughout-tho winter. The latest and' best available talent will be engaged, so that patrons of this now wellestablished band can look forward to an enjoyable evening's' entertainment. Ad- • mission .will be free, a silver coin collection; in aid of th'e.Musio Library, being taken at the door. The full programme for Sunday's concert will appear in Saturday's issue. .'.-'•,,'
